RASHELLE CAREY/Sun-Gazette The Eagles Mere Inn, 1 Mary Ave., Eagles Mere, was first established in 1885 by A.C. Little as a boarding house. The inn is nestled in the endless mountains between Worlds End Sate Park and Ricketts Glenn State Park, and also offers access to the Blind Pig Pub downstairs, and nearby lake and country club. It's curent owner, Barbie Gale, has owned the Inn since 2006. "We're a country inn so guests recieve a five course gourmet dinner, breakfast and room for their base rate," said Gale.
